Our Foundation and Continuity

Dakshin Charaikheya United Club was established in 1995 by a group of dedicated local youth and social workers deeply committed to the socio-economic upliftment of the poor and marginalized, particularly distressed women and children.

Formally registered under the West Bengal Societies Registration Act, 1961 in 1999, the organization operates in the most backward and underserved villages of the Purba Medinipur district. With agriculture forming the primary livelihood base of the region, our initial interventions centered around farmer welfare and have since evolved into comprehensive structural empowerment.

Today, our institutional footprint spans across FPC promotion, extensive SHG digitization (eShakti), LEDP livelihood training, and comprehensive rural education—impacting over 19,500 beneficiaries every single year.

🌟

Our Vision

To foster a just, equitable, and sustainable rural society where marginalised communities—especially women, tribal populations, and small farmers—are structurally empowered to lead lives of dignity, economic independence, and social security.

🎯

Our Mission

To implement targeted socio-economic development programs focusing on organized livelihood generation (FPCs, LEDP, SHGs), capacity building, rural education, and healthcare intervention. We act as facilitators bridging the gap between underserved villages and institutional support systems.
